I know what you are talking about, I did not d/l the software...I just direct my web browser to last fm.

If you just want to listen to music open up a web browser to www.last.fm/listen enter an artist..etc....and you are good to go

I am not a member but I use this at home on my pc which is hooked up to my home surround sound crank up the volume....it is awesome...a really nice radio player.
