Edit: I didn't realize at first that these were free mp3's sorry but even still sometimes more user friendly is worth the .99. Sometimes i just want to quickly download a song and with these websites quick doesn't seem like an option.
Why don't you flash back to stock ROM, make sure the Music Store is working. Then copy over those files needed to your SD card. Flash back to custom ROM and copy those files back to Windows folder. It may be that the exe and dll files are a little different and notices that it is from a different phone. Let me know if that helps!

Oh and I used the link you provided to get Sprint Music Store working on my Diamond with a custom ROM. Mahalo muhcos!
