After staying on hold with vzw for over an hour, going to the local store to verify (and being told no stores carry the touch pro because it costs too much), and talking to 3 levels of techs on the phone they are sending me a replacement. Nobody except the guy at the store could accurately repeat to me the problem I was having, so who knows what they will eventually think when they get the phone. At least it didn't' cost me the insurance payment. Everyone was very polite through the whole process which was refreshing. I did have to specifically mention the manufacturer warranty because the first person I talked with on the phone wanted to just ring up the insurance.
