it's the same, although there is one bug related to texting that all the 6.5 roms seem to have (please correct me if this has been fixed somewhere) -- if you just open a blank new message and type in the 'to', and pick from the autocomplete, the contact and # will show correctly on the screen, but the message will "fail to send to '3'" (or something like that) when you send it. Either using the 'send text to ____' link in contacts or just continuing an existing text conversation works fine, though.
