Alright MD! I was runnig 1.11F with mightyROM 4.16. And yes its fast, it boosts your EVDO speeds, but unfortunately the faster speeds come with a price. Sprint 1.11F runs on a higher frequency. Hence the extra battery drain and higher temperature. Its making the battery work a bit more on normal operations...
Telus 1.04 is running at a slightly lower frequency, thus giving you more battery life and less heat. EVDO is still fast, with occasional boost in speed, but its not continously as fast as 1.11F. But again its why you will notice the jumps in bars. Some area have dropped calls because of this issue, I don't, I am in the DC metro area.....
Now the dilema I am having is with this new 1.07 that just got put out. Trying to find the balance for my use. We can't have it all.....Yet!
