The notifications appear in the middle of the screen, not aligned to the bottom like they should, so some calendar events are cut off at the top (as opposed to being cut off at the bottom with the original cab).

Its supposed to be in the dead center when fixed, reset x2 and try all your notifications (alarm/cal/msg) it should correct itself.
