keeping the sd card out of the phone is KEY - after alllll the things i tried, i went back to
http://wiki.ppchaven.com/index.php?t...IX_VERIZON_GPS and ran through it without the SD card in . . . flashed NFSFAN's windows 6.5 v5 ROM, fired up GPS Viewer and for the first time in AGES saw the red satellite dots . . . a few soft resets later and I'm getting 6-7 sats locked on from inside my work!
