Re: Verizon Diamond release date 4-10-09 telesales no 4gb of storage and has flash...

....kinda find it funny that now people complain about not having the built in memory when before people were griping so much about not have expandable memory on the Sprint and other diamonds. (infact thats why some people have moved to the pro. for that very reason)

As far as specs go the TF3D on this phone is more optimized (if you get it you will notice its ALMOST on par with some of the later roms here) and the phone will come with the diamond back (plus for some minus for others)

Only thing I dont like about it personally is that the TF3D color scheme that was chosen for the phone. its got better background (mostly black) then vzw stock pro but the burgundy and lime green highlights to me make for a terrible combination (almost girlish no offense) definitely would have to change that.

other than that the phone would be my pick for average consumers looking to move into WM for the first time (since TF3D is so simple and this will cost less than the pro (VZW pricing anyways)

yeah yeah vzw took the ram down but honestly at first I thought it would matter or I would care but I have had many loaded roms and cooked a few myself and haven't had any true issues with the phone functionality or capabilities. guess to me its like if it does what I need it to do with no lag or very little resets I dont truly care.

Not to say I agree with some of VZW's marketing choices (in fact I despise some of our idiotic practices sometimes) I praise them for taking the time to at least put a microSD slot into the phone so that people have alot more options and will most likely keep them phones in the long run rather than switching to another phone that does have expandable memory (ie Pro, Omnia)
