Cracked chrome on a phone that works and has Voice, Data, and GPS fully functional or a new phone with no cracks that I can't use possibly? Not sure which way to go with this. I may call both Sprint and Verizon and see what I can find out.

If I can somehow get reassured from Verizon, that when I get my existing phone replaced, they will activate, then I won't waste any time pushing for a replacement!
Try calling HTC instead of Sprint.... they should cover the device under the manufacturers warranty.... theoretically you will get the same device back with the same ESN info.... give them a call!
