I just have personal preference on it really. There used to be speculation on whether anything over 16 impacted battery life indirectly. I know a lot of people like larger pagepools, so it is changeable with the PP tool. I don't like allocating so much ram to the system for its own use and not mine but I gave in and jumped to 20.
