Are temporary files eating my storage?

I thought I had a good handle on controlling the memory on my Omnia. I've moved the Opera cache and run MemMaid daily to clean up after myself. Yet my Storage shows 0.39MB free of the 88.17 total.

MemMaid is reporting that the \Windows directory is using 234.77MB 229.85MB of it is in 2764 files directly in \Windows.

When I peek in there I am seeing hundreds of files with hexadecimal names such as:
034e7cf6-8a37-...

Are these temporary files somebody left behind? Can I safely delete them all?
