I just flashed that new sprint update rom and didnt let customization run, i just stopped at the "Tap here screen" and then i turned right around and flashed FuFu 4.5 again/ That sprint rom changed my PRL and so i had to reload a cricket prl, and i was good to go/ BUT the full qwerty
keyboard still stuck / no problem though just installed a custom keyboard and that was it/

+1 for the new sprint rom. For the keyboard, did you try to uninstall the xt9 cab I have from remove programs, it might fix your sticking keyboard.
