Of course the range on bluetooths in general I never recommend to seperate the devices by more than 10 feet and when the phone is on your right hip and bluetooth in your left ear, the signal going through your body will cause static on more affordable headsets. Where I work we sell about 12 different headsets.
BluAnt z9i: My fav
Jawbone II: good sound, but awkward to keep the headset in just the right position so it works
Plantronics Voyager 520: good sound, any cheaper your getting what you pay for.
Any others, your wasteing your money and your sacrificing money-saved over quality.

That is what I have summized selling them through the years.
I am using the S9 stereo headset. With my HTC Sprint Touch it worked like a champ. I could put it in any pocket and it just worked. With my HTC Sprint Diamond it doesnt work. I must keep it about 1 foot from the headset or it breaks up every few secounds. Since it works great with one phone and not the other it must be the phone. Since I also have access to two Diamonds and 2 headsets with the same issue it rules out it being a headset issue. I do know the S9 tells you not to keep it in a front pocket but my other set is not this way and it does the same thing.

Bottom line is the Diamond Bluetooth sucks with stereo headsets. Works ok with normal ones. If I can't put the phone in my pocket, any pocket then whats the point? You would think they would understand this and make them work at say 10feet thru the body, pocket, whatever.

Got a question about the new ROM. Does it have Sprint Picture Mail and if not can I install it now that it is working again? I dont want to use the other one unless its a last resort. SPM app is better when it works.
