Re: Verizon GPS not working anymore

This may help some that have run QPST and are still having trouble getting the Telus settings to work.

I just had to do a hard-reset and full Sprite restore (well in hind-sight I didn't have to but that's another topic). Regardless, everything went fine but I could not get a GPS lock. I check my registry and everything was fine. I did a few soft-resets, pulled the battery, but nothing worked.... aGPS was gone.

I thought about checking the QPST settings but I already know that they are unaffected by a hard reset. But nothing else would work... so I ran my ##3424# and connected QPST.... read from phone... looked at gpsOne and everything was correct as I expected.

On a hunch, I chose "Read from phone" and then "Write to phone" in the QPST System Programming screen. Shut it down, disconnected my phone, and soft reset. Booted up VisualGPSce and got a lock sitting in my living room in under 10 seconds.

FWIW, those of you that can't get this going may want to try it.
