Ok so I finaly got a 6800 mogul from sprint. As we all know the basic sprint rom is boring and not all that usable. I used to swap roms on my 6700 all the time with little issue (killed a phone once doing it but thats not my problem).
So I wanted to put the new leaked 6.5 rom on here, dl'd the rom, ran it, it begins, finds my phone, then I get that tri color boot loader, the word serial at the bottom and nothing happens, hard reset the phone, and back to square one. now I have tried as the program is running to pull the usb cord out a little so it reads USB not serial but no luck.
I tried PPCKitchen, same issue it drops into the tri color load screen and I get bupkiss (nothing).
I've read through for the past 5 hours on how to do this, I could do it in my sleep at this point, but even in my dreams I cant get the F-in thing to work.

Anyone know if I am missing a step?

Since you are from a 6700 and didn't mention using a hardSPL, I am asuming you probably did unlock the bootloader...
