I've search with no luck

How do you back up the current configuration setting of S2U2 and succefully restore it when doing UC using SDConfig. I exported the S2U2 registry, translated it to XML and attempted to provision the XML into the setup after hard reset. This hasn't worked successfully. Can anyone give me some suggestions? e.g. doesn't keep password etc...
