Problems with youtube app??? Solution here!!!!

okay, so for people such as myself who may be having problems such as connection error, or no videos found, or error :cannot playback, this is what i did, and my stock youtube app now runs flawlessly!!!!

by the way, i am posting this under the touch pro forums because that is what i have, so this is the only phone that i am positive it will work with.

so i believe that i got the playback error after i decided that technology1's players were not any better than the stock ones, plus i didnt like all the extra steps to get the same quality video IMO. so i thought that maybe i had deleted some codecs or some other important file that was needed. and i tried upgrading the youtube player, didnt really work. the program launched, but was all funky lookin.

so here is the forum where u can find the cab for the stock player. i didnt bother uninstalling the stock player because it is my understanding that this will overwrite any prexisting youtube files that u have.

big thanks to all the guys at xda developers, they are truly the masters of geeky stuff.

just run the cab, i did a soft reset, and ran good old stock youtube player!!!!

hope this helps someone, i coulda used it
