Only thing you can do short of kissing up to the ex is hard reset, but that will cause you to loose all your information, installed apps everything back like the first time you turned it on. To perform a hard reset hold the 2 soft keys (buttons closest to the display screen) and push the reset button on the bottom with the stylus at the same time
