Smile Re: this problem may happen to you too !

I had exactly the same problem quite a while ago, and it took me a lot of research and fiddling to determine the problem. My problem resulted from a program called Registry Mechanic, specifically, the sub-section entitled Registry Cleanup. When I checked the box to delete empty registry keys, I ended up with no sound, the inability to play any sound files, and the inability to play any videos.

SK Tools may have the same option concerning the registry.

NEVER, under any circumstances, get rid of empty registry keys. Some of them are actually needed for certain functions to work.

Okay, now that you may know what caused the problem, how do you return your phone back to normal?

Well, as the other person said, I had to hard reset and re-install everything. You can be sure, though, that I never check the Empty Registry Keys box. =D>
