Yellow or Orange Vogue!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was surfing the forums, and found xweaponx's thread about dying his touch pro battery cover. I thought, hey, i'll try that on my vogue! So i went to walmart and bought some RIT dye, and voila! Orange Vogue!!!!! Pictures at bottom of post.

ATTN: This only works if it is the rubberized casing. If you have a verizon touch i am not sure if it will work very well.

Tutorial:
1. Buy some powdered RIT dye (detergent section in walmart)
2. Put some water in a pot and on a stove, put correct amount of dye in water (box directions) and heat to where it's not boiling, but is almost too hot to the touch.
3. Take the body off of the phone, and wash the battery cover and front off.
(!!!!!DONT FORGET TO TAKE THE SPEAKER AND DIGITIZER OUT OF THE FRONT!!!!! THIS WILL RUIN THEM!!)
4. Once they are washed and THE SPEAKER AND DIGITIZER AND BUTTONS ARE OUT OF THE FRONT, you can put them in the dyed water. (still being heated)
5. Keep stirring gently and make sure the water doesnt boil.
6. After 15 minutes, take them out and wash off the extra dye.
7. Wait for them to dry and boom! they are ready!!

At walmart, they had orange, yellow, black, dark green, navy and royal blue, pink, and others.

Optional: I used a clear protective paint to give mine the glossy look and to prevent future bleeding. This is optional, and will make it harder to redye in the future.

!!!!!I am not responsible for screwing up your casing if you do try this!! With that said, if you do try it, post your results!!!!

If you have any questions, ask before you "wing it". I would hate for anyone to screw up their phones.

Also, if you do this, when putting the phone back together you may need to use some double stick tape to make sure the screen does not come loose. I did, and everything is great!

Good Luck!!
