I believe the LED would have to be a multicolor LED or multiple LED bulbs in order to change the color. If the LED behind the Dpad on the Touch Pro is only white, then you won't be able to change it to any other color.
The Mogul had a multicolor LED for different notifications and No2Chem wrote a program to allow manipulation of the colors that worked quite well, but I don't know if the one behind our touch pad is capable of any other color.
