Reason for this is I just reformated my comp and i really dont want to install office just to sync my contacts. its a resource hog
I believe it's called "pim.vol" in your root directory. It also stores all your text messages etc btw, so be careful to at least back it up and not just delete outright in case you need it back. Good luck.
