Every calculator I have that has a "%" button automatically does the multiplication and gives me the original number + whatever percentage I added to it like 100 + 10% = 110.
The calculator on my original Touch (Vogue), on my Treo Pro., the calculator in Vista, my cheapo calculator from Office Depot all do it the way I've described.

and the answer they give me is 110.

First, 100 + 10% is NOT 110. Any calculator giving you that answer, I suggest breaking it or throwing it away. By looking at the pattern you pressed your keys, you're telling your calculator to "devide" 10 by 100, then "add" 100 to it. SO....10%=0.1
100+10%=
100+0.1= 100.1
