Multiplying a number by a percentage (less than 1 whole number, i.e. 50% of 25%) always will be less?
100 x 25% = 25. (100 * .25) = 25

I'm talking about using the "%" button.
Every calculator I have that has a "%" button automatically does the multiplication and gives me the original number + whatever percentage I added to it like 100 + 10% = 110.
The calculator on my original Touch (Vogue), on my Treo Pro., the calculator in Vista, my cheapo calculator from Office Depot all do it the way I've described.
Pressing these keys:
100
+
10
%
=
and the answer they give me is 110.
