I actually really like the idea of Smartphone tracker (even though I havn't really used it yet), when I do it will really come in handy.
-lose or get your phone stolen
-text your phone the "secret word"
-phone wakes up/activates gps
-returns back its coordinates
-put coordinates in google maps
-shows you where your phone is at
How cool is that??
