What I have done is copied the shortcuts in my window/start menu/programs folder that I want installed "auto" when I run sashimi. I recreated the directories in the root folder of the sashimi folder. I am hoping this works. But I must be missing something. Why would you want to use the cab files as opposed to the method I used. If you install EVERYTHING to your SD card in the first place arent you just installing over something that is already there? If you flash, all you are doing is losing the shortcut found in your windows/start menu/programs folder. The app, or whatever should still be installed on the SD, and just needs to have something to direct to the exe. I must be missing something. Someone please clarify. Thanks.
And now I think I have answered my own question. And my method above did not work for some reason. Hmmm. Back to the drawing board.

I wish I could answer your question as I am asking myself the same thing. What happens if you do what you stated but at the same time backup your registry entries under HKCU/Software?
Try that and get back.
