yea, im a lefty as well (once we unite, we will rule the world). and i find the stylus annoying, as well as the scroll bar.
as far as the font color, i know UItweaker can change the system font. i messed with it one day and was able to to it, if you give me a little time i can find a cab, or if you do a google for it, im sure you can find it.
i have a pic of my gf as the background, and its pretty light, what i did, as i keep flashing roms, was to darken the pic a little bit and it seemed to work. dont know how good you are with photo editing.
you said you are using mightys rom. are you using the manilla 2 version? if so, i dont beleive there are any themes that will work with it yet, somebody might correct me if im wrong.
by the way, welcome to the site. as somebody said, jump in, the best way to figure stuff out is trial and error (except for flashing, follow the directions on that). but enjoy and pretty soon you will be as addicted as most everybody here is....
