Mike doesn't change the first splash screen in his roms. You can change it. I changed mine to the HTC stock one but I have that at home or I would post it. Keep digging around. It will flash to your phone just like a rom, but it won't hard reset. Back up your phone anyway to be safe.

Mike's ROM has the HTC screen and then his mighty ROM screen, but mine still has the VerizonWireless screen that pops up first that I cant figure out how to get rid of
