Re: SPRINT WM 6.5 Beta Rom (test) NON M2D.

First thing I noticed this morning after I reflashed my phone is that TeleNav does indeed work, but unlike previous 6.1 versions I literally have to have the phone right up against the window to gain a lock, testing with MSLive also gains a lock, so it works - just not as strong, looking into that

Second thing is I did a quick cursory scan for power eating issues and noticed the "BEAM" feature is enabled, disable that and that is a start at least with things like backlight on battery and the like- might even have to apply the standard power saving reg edits that are floating around or create a new one for this ROM itself (standards like the BTPan1, etc)

Im working right now on the Activesync issue with Outlook and will update in a few when I determine if I found a workaround for the errors that are happening there as well * update, figured I had 900 items in my inbox (most old and useless) so thought it might be a size issue and deleted down to 120, synched and nada (so I dont think amount or size is the issue)

so here is an option that has worked for 6 consecutive connections without errors...
Open WMDC and uncheck email in the options, synch, disconnect phone and allow sync again, Open WMDC and enable email, Sync again (it will be SLOOOOOOW so be patient) and it was successful , now as I stated as of this I have unplugged and plugged in the phone 6 times and synched successfully each time

UPDATE - well this bites - after lots of syncs (close to 30 successful in over an hour), it suddenly failed again with the same issue, no new mail received no changes made, same error as previous times
back to the drawing board
