The update itself will have the code to cover both revisions. Think of it like this, if you run an ATI 4870 graphics card in one machine and a ATI 3870 in another, you only have to download the 1 newest update and install on both machines, Not 2 seperate update downloads. The update software has the correct drivers for both vid cards even though they are physically different.
