I don't understand how it would break it... It only replaces the DLL that has the graphics, and no registry settings. It is from the 5.0.69.44 Arcsoft as that is the only VGA arcsoft I have had my hands on.
So I took the file MMSRes_320x320.dll on my phone and renamed it to MMSRes_480x640.dll, and it worked just fine. So I remade the cab for it and replaced it in Post 1. Here it is, so you dosn't have to go back to it.
Arcsoft Generic Icons-new.cab. It isn't VGA, but the phone sizes them to work.
