do u mean pocket express? the handmark app? little confused sinec you used the word "dialing"....open it up, just goto options, and turn auto update off from the dropdown box...
and i dont see how this would run your batery down any significant amount.. even if it turns on and it pulls data for a min..in a fe sec itll turn back off anyways
