Honestly, I think this piece is a bit of an embarrassment. A pretty obvious sleight-of-hand to deflect attention from the fact that WM is, at its heart, torture to use.
Think of the original iPhone ads. The phone. A finger. Some flicking. And the public fell in love.
Now look at this. A corporate-think parade of demographically focused images. Music. Frolicking. Forced hipness. And a pointed determination to avoid showing the WM interface. Almost a Saturday Night Live spoof commercial. Tagline: "Microsoft: We Still Don't Get It".
