I use the OEM alarm every day but I have never had this problem. The Windows Mobile alarm has always been pillaged with problems. On my 700wx the alarm always goes off but at times like after a hard reset it builds duplicate alarms and these need to be cleaned from memory. I use Memory maid for this. Example if I have an alarm set and do a soft reset after the reset the 700wx will have 2 alarms set for the same time the alarms will go off one after the other at the scheduled time. Memory Maid has the ability to find and delete these bogus alarms. This might not fix the current problem but if you are going to use the alarm allot you should think of investing in this program. IMO hope that helps
