First you know all the GPS stuff like you have to be outside and have a clear view of the sky.... One other setting some might miss is Start/settings/System/external GPS/Access tab/ uncheck Manage GPS automatically. This seams to cause the GPS to not connect if checked. If you have all of that than yes it can take a couple of minutes to gain all the information to get the exact location. |
hard resetted my phone recently, setup my gps last night in my room. I live in a concrete block house, and was able to acquire 6 satellites, about 9 feet from a window.
