You can do a regedit:

HKLM > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > SHELL > RAI > DEFBROWSER

change values to this:

0 > Opera Mobile
1 > \Windows\OperaL.exe

Soft reset your phone. Opera will now be your default browser!
