As was mentioned, it does not create any stability issues. I'm running the stock Sprint ROM with the TF3D HD port like Fat boy and Darren.wlsn1. At startup my device is usually using about 75MB of program memory. I'm not sure how much storage space the port consumes, but it was not very much.
