I have three Sprint TP's ported to Verizon service & they are damn near impossible to hard reset with the hardware buttons. I don't get why this is such a PITA, but it most definitely is.
Using the clear mem option is not really an option for me as it resets all the EPST settings & then they all need to be redone to get it back on VZ service (hard resetting with the buttons does not do that)
I needed to hard reset one of them two days ago. Half the time I just reflash the ROM again as opposed to an actual hard reset, but this time I wanted to reset. I must have done the button combination 25 times in a row before it finally worked. I swear I did EXACTLY the same thing every time, but on about the 30th try it worked............
