do the following

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\D3DM\Drivers]
"LocalHook"="d3dm_ati.dll"

change it to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\D3DM\Drivers]
"LocalHook"="d3dm_ati1.dll"

soft reset and use flash!

I still cooked in the previous driver for this reason!
Is there a noticeable performance difference between these 2 different driver versions?

What's the benefit of using one over the other besides flash working better on the model "1" driver?

Update:
By the way, I did switch to the d3dm_ati1.dll driver and I still have the following problem:

Out of curiousity, Mike, Rico, or anyone else who might know.

Why is it that I could go to youtube.com before and playback anything I wanted on there, but now nothing plays.

Instead I get a message about making sure that javascript is enabled on my browser (which it is) and to be sure to have the latest flash player as well.

Any ideas?

Edit:
I take it back, some videos play, others don't.
Im guessing this has to do with the version of flash they were saved/encoded in.
