Another Raging Idiot bright idea... (ConceptPhone) part4

It's been a while since I have done any brainstorming on possibilities on this topic in this forum, and something new just came to mind which I'll share with you now. Granted, it's rather simple, it's just I've yet to hear anyone else mention it or write about it (or create it)- and just like other things I've thought of in the past - it might just become a reality in the future.

just floating an idea

What is needed:
A dial pad that has text boxes on each of the number buttons, in which the user can edit what is displayed above the number.
For example, a Voice Mail captioning on the dialpad as a reminder of what each number does.

As such:
On/above #1 it could say: "VM header" as in - Play back time/date/number.
On/above #4 ... "VM repeat" as in - Play back message.
On/above #6 ... "VM Forward"
On/above #7 ... "VM delete"
On/above #8 ... "VM callback"
On/above #9 ... "VM Save"

Next step, (well to make it marketable anyway), have ability to select from multiple preconfigured dialpads.
Concept:

1. Voicemail dialpad Preconfigured for Sprint.
2. Voicemail dialpad Preconfigured for Verizon.
3. " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " etc etc
4. Dialpad Preconfigured for Bank Of America
5. Dialpad Preconfigured for Suntrust
6. " " " " " " " " " " " " " " "" " etc etc

How would the Bank configuration work??? Well, it will work like this:
It would have to do a simple If/Then statement upon each number entry.
So... IF you click 1 (for the checking menu) THEN the next dialpad entries will be displayed- corresponding with the menu being spoken from the recording.
IDEALLY there will be a central source in which everyone can download (and potentially upload) these *smart* dialpads. An email could go out to anyone that registers whenever a company makes a change to a dial menu- thereby notifying them to update their dialpad.

Next step, (well to make it even better anyway), is to have it remember the entries of each number. Say for instance you want to call the bank but don't want to type all the garbage again, you pull up the bank dialpad and click the option that says "playback recorded number sequence" and then it gives a submenu of all your "recorded sequences". You select "RECORDING 1" and it plays invisibly into the phone your bank's phone number, then your account number, giving the same amount of pause as originally recorded, and then proceeds to play Numbers 1 (for personal accounts) 1 (for checking menu) 2 (for last five withdrawals). ... or whatever sequence it might actually be... It would dynamically change the Dialpad options as the menu is traversed.

*disclaimer: a software lock on the phone is advised if recording a PIN or password in such scenarios - although someone would have to first steal your phone, and figure out the dialpad software, and figure out what you named the recording, and from what exact point to run the recording. Hopefully by that time you would have already changed your PIN.

What's in a name? That which we call a genius by any other name would be just as smart.
I beat up Sprint and all I have to show for it is this lousy
When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets I was out hacking with the ppcgeeks.
