Ok so after following this everything works perfect. Now my town is shown in the weather instead of some town that's 45mins away. Thanks...

I guess the key word in ur instruction is def. the SOFT RESET. 'cause before getting thsoe instructions i was doing everything that u stated in steps 1 and 2 but never did a soft reset after changing the Weather Database and adding my city and that's wat my mistake was 'cause after i exited out of the customizer and then did a soft reset, my town was showing in the weather tab..... thanks emunutz
