I got mine from a friend's 3-pack extra kit he bought at Verizon:
They have tiny ball bearings that prevent the stylus from slipping out of the radio antenna.
Since you also experience the same problem as I do (my regular stylus slides like butter out of the PPC6700 antenna), I'd have to recommend a small piece of scotch tape overlapped two or three times around the end. It serves as a great e-brake for the stylus and is free.
What's interesting is that the XV6700 will hold on to the same stylus with 10x more grip. Therefore, it is safe to assume Sprint may have made the stylus slot a
little too big (somewhere on the magnitude of 1/32"). I would guess that since Sprint & Verizon use different radio hardware in the Apache 6700, that they would also have different antennas...requiring two separate pieces to be manufactured.
Maybe this "defect" will get us Moguls? Ha!
