All this tweak does is (duh) underexpose the image by shortening the shutter speed. Basic photography but at the end you get an underexposed image. This is NOT the same as an ISO boost.

Now if you do a 'ghetto ISO boost' and raise the image levels with an editing program, then you have something truly similar, but that is another processing step (rather unweildy even on the TP).

Bottom line is you don't get something for nothing. But hey if you can live with underexposed images ...
