The person I spoke with said that they had seen this issue before, but it wasn't very common. Could possibly be some faulty soldering on the board, and the chip came loose or something.

yes same issue... i took to sprint store and they gave me a brand new one... they had no refurb units... NICE... and since i had insurance on the phone it cost $0
