Check

Then I check, "Attempt to ditect Exchange Server Settings Automatically"

That I've checked and continued and then not checked and continued (I assum the former is correct.

Then I would think this next part would be obvious

It asks for the server address:

Here's what I've tried

pop3.live.com
pop3.hotmail.com

so it also say it says the server address "is the same as your outlook web access server address"

so I'm thinking okay how about just my full hotmail e-mail address again

no dice

I even tried the smtp address smtp.live.com

So I go hunting into my outlook on my pc and put in my server url

http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

Am missing somthing obvious here? or maybe it's not allowed.

One last question, any reason why I can't attach a wav file (or MP3 for that matter) in any of my e-mail. I tried choosing the file and hitting send (doesn't attach and I tried insert file. It'll do this to other files.

Thanks much
Yo, Steve. I have Hotmail set up on my TP. It goes through Windows Live. I use the Outlook client to get my corporate e-mail from my Exchange server, but I don't think that's the right approach for Hotmail. Try going to messaging, choosing "New Account" enter your username@hotmail.com and password, click next and let it get settings automatically. It's straightforward from there.
