I'm thinking that it's like trying to run a gas engine with diesel fuel. They're both combustable and it may work...but really, it's just gonna screw things up in the end.

Hard reset your phone...then see if you can find the original rom that came with your phone and flash to that. Then go back to Metro and get them to work their magic to get everything working.

This of course all assumes that your phone was working 100% correctly before on Metro.

If nothing else...clean that bad boy up real nice and sell it on ebay or craigslist. Then go to Metro and ask them specifically what type of phone works with their system and what are the software limitations. Then go out and get exactly what they said.
