this device is a pda with a phone built in,,,

and htc has nothing to do with these problems,,, the web problem is probably just a settings problem, or a carrier problem,, or a problem with the rom you flashed,,,

running slow? that all depends on how much stuff you have loaded tsr.. (terminate stay resident) like bootup proggies that stay running in the background... also another factor is heat,, if you keep this in your pocket it might be getting warm thus maybe slowing it down a bit...

if your having problems with the keyboard other than it lagging from time to time,, it may be a hardware problem, thus take it back and exchange it,, other than that make sure you click your finger in the text entry field before you start typing otherwise it wont type squat...

the 6700 was a great device,, and the tp is not any different,, just a few hardware upgrades and a better screen,

if you dont like windows mobile devices then by all means switch, but to be honest,,, if you go rim,, youll probably be unhappy,,, not much fun stuff to hack on a rim.. lol or you could get an iphone.. bwahh ha ha.. sorry had to throw that one in there...

anywhoo,, sorry not bashing you,, just putting in my 2 cents worth
Case and point. Again my issues (as I posted already but you did not read) were not overloading the phone (unless installing google maps and shazam ONLY) is overloading the phone. Also I ALWAYS CLOSE programs dont leave them running in the background.

They keyboard was a hardware issue (man why didnt I think to click in the text field? DOH? seriously?)

I also hadnt even flashed a rom on the 2nd one.

But thanks for your .02
