as for how to fix all those problems i can tell you that
1. speed up ..alot of tweaks read and try..or try custom roms
2. prevent text delay and lockups, no real solution yet
3.answer delay ..as of now it is a fact of this phone no definite solution, few things you can try..use a small wav file as a ringtone and alll the others are myth
4. syncing your windows live you can use "windows live " that comes almost with every rom
5.google as in gmail ,well honestly i use a program/service called seven and it does an excellent job for pushing all kind of emails and syncing calenders but before you use it please read this thread
