If anyone still uses the today screen instead of touch flow... (I do)... I wrote a today screen plug in that reports the instantaneous current and the average current.
Use at your own risk...
NOTE: I wanted to keep it as small as possible so the only way to reset the average is to soft reset the phone or unload then reload the plug in.
