I'm a Verizon user, and I use Wireless Sync to obtain my corporate e-mail. Wireless Sync is definately a battery killer. I found that with Wireless Sync completely disabled, and while still running WeatherPanel (obtaining updates every 30 minutes) I still have 80% of my battery remaining at the end of the day. While running Wireless Sync, I'm lucky to have 20% left at the end of the day (and that's with making very few calls).
